DESCRIPTION: This wood is easy to work with & has nice face grain patterns sometimes similar to oak but is much lighter & easier to work. The color is light brown. Appears lustrous, with a reddish brown heartwood & more yellow-brown sapwood; shows a moderate color change over time & exposure, darkening to a richer brown with red highlights.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina’s.

USES: Popular choice for indoor construction as well as flooring, cabinetry & furniture.
